Special honey varieties

Some of our honey varieties such as thyme honey and fir tree honey are very special honey types that are produced in very few countries, among which is Greece.

Vanilla honey in particular, comes from the fir trees in the Menalon mountains (near Vitina) at an altitude of over 1000 m and is produced exclusively in this area of Greece!

Floral diversity

The high biodiversity of nectar and pollen plants in the area were I do my beekeeping activity is what makes the unique taste and aroma of my honey.They include thyme, rosemary, eucalyptus, fir trees, lavender, mountain tea, oregano and lime blossom.

It is mature honey

It is the so called ripe honey extracted from sealed combs. The moisture level is lower than 15 %, which means the honey is rich and thick and virtually inperishable, while maintaining its healing and nutritional properties.

It is chemical free

"Little beekeeper" honey is totally free from pesticide and antibiotics and if anyone wants to test it to verify the complete absence of chemical residues in our honey, they are welcome to do so.

It is raw honey

It is totally unheated, unpasteurized, unprocessed honey. Its mildly filtrated so as to keep small particles of pollen, propolis and wax, which enhance its taste and aroma.

It comes from a single honey harvest, which means it is not a product of blending various honey batches.
